Uh, no post title, it is in fact notIron Man (although, we should say the prospect of seeing the film this weekend sounds nice). What we're all going to be playin, no doubt, is Mario Kart Wii. With its multitude of tracks, online play and plethora of control schemes available (got to love that wheel!), it looks like it's a shoe-in for this weekend's down time. What about you all?
Will you be racing it up in Mario Kart Wii, or are you playin something else? Maybe you're still chipping away at Okami? What are you playin?

What are you playin? is a weekly feature where we ask what it is that you're, well ... playin! Every Friday, look for a new topic and a new chance to converse with the community about what video games you're enjoying and which video games are disappointing. So tell us already!
My hands are still shaking, so if you catch a couple of grammar mistakes, forgive me. My uncontrollable shaking hands can be attributed to the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video I just got done watching. Unlike alot of videogame junkies, I've never been a huge stickler for gameplay videos. I'd rather just play the video game with a clean slate, but I must admit sometimes my curiosity gets the best of me. After taking a gander at this G4 exclusive video, curiosity hasn't killed this cat, but has left him very excited.
Considering that the only N-Space-developed video game we ever enjoyed was Geist on the GameCube, it's no surprise that we had absolutely no idea they were working on a WiiWare video game (but we did know they were working with Wii). Now that we've found out what it is (Target Toss Pro: Bags), we're actually kind of intrigued, albeit because we think we're in some kind of dream right now, waiting for someone to wake us up.
Seriously, you toss bags? Like, that's the video game? We're shocked into submission, because we really can't believe that they're making a video game where you toss bags. What's in the bags? Smuggled diamonds? Dirt? What's next? A WiiWare hopscotch video game? How about Duck Duck Goose? And what's with the name of the video game? Is it implying that other Target Toss Pro video games are on the horizon? Target Toss Pro: Bottles and Target Toss Pro: Your Wiimote into the TV anyone?
Perhaps we're just too cynical, but with so many great ideas floating around out there, we're just upset when we see someone is developing a video game where you toss bags. Because it's more fun in a videogame than in real life. And, believe us, we've tossed bags in real life before. It's not that fun, so we imagine a video game based on that concept won't be much more fun, either.
Based on data pulled from GameRankings, folks over at GameFunk have prepared the nice little chart above. Apparently, Wii video games don't get that great of marks from reviewers. Compared to the marks of video games on other consoles, it makes the Wii's library look even worse!
Here's the numbers:
Xbox 360: 374 video games: 26% good, 24% bad
PS3: 122 video games: 33% good, 17% bad
Wii: 189 video games: 11% good, 37% bad
But, before you punch your computer monitor in a fit of rage, know this: the Wii does have a lot of shovelware. It's just the price of success, as publishers and developers see the console as a means to make money. And that's what they're in it for.
